Abstract :　The paper analyzes the concept of urban open space , lists its similarities and differences with urban green system, and states the status quo of urban open space in China based on some fieldwork .Through studying the new lifestyles , values and attitudes toward nature and sustainability and out of the consideration of the social and ecological attributes of urban open space , the paper puts forward constructing the urban green network ,which can not only meet the need of the citizens but also serve the urban open space ecosystem.In addition
, the paper illustrates the particularity and importance of the loose-fit space in the network , and finally visualizes the construction and development models of urban open space in China in the future .
