The major aims at cultivating advanced landscape engineering talents, committed to the planning and design of scenic spots, forest parks, tourism districts and urban green spaces. After four years' study, students are required to grasp trends in the field of Landscape Architecture, especially theories and methods in the conservation of natural environment, and the development of arti cial eco-environments.

They are expected to be able to undertake the work of planning, design and research on urban open spaces, all kinds of green spaces, scenic spots, garden building, and landscape engineering. They will be granted bachelor of engineering upon graduation. The abilities of drawing and thinking are required for students who apply for this major.
