Under the background of the current environmental problems, the direction of the discipline has forward-looking and unique advantages, garden architecture is the traditional and excellent areas of the discipline, from the Tang and Song architecture to the Ming and Qing architecture, from the of cial architecture to the local architecture, from the architectural design method to the process, the discipline has a wealth of theoretical and time experience.

In recent years, maintaining the characteristics of the discipline, as the same time, it focus on expanding the  eld of expertise and consolidate the subject.
