The major aims at cultivating advanced engineering and technical talents with a deep and integrated understanding of the basic theory and knowledge, resent status and prospects of the discipline, a mastery of advanced cultivation techniques in the  ower industry, the skills in the planting, breeding, management, administration and international trade of ornamental plants, landscaping design and construction, and planting design. Students will be granted Bachelor of Agronomy after four years' study. Main courses include: Ornamental Dendrology, Floriculture, Garden Plant Genetics, Breeding Science, Theory and Techniques of Cut- Flower and Pot-Grown Flower Production and potted  ower. Ornamental Facilities, Flowers Marketing, International Trade, Landscaping and Construction, Flower Post-Harvest Physiology and Technology, Flowers Application Design, Turf and Ground Cover, Bonsai Art and Flower Bio-Technology and so on. Graduates would be able to enter the sectors of urban landscape,  ower production, trading, teaching and research, landscape design and construction, as well as other related departments.
