Distinctive Features

The Landscape Gardening program is one of Beijing Forestry University's traditional and prestigious specialty programs. It is a national-level "First-Class Undergraduate Program" construction site, a national-level characteristic major, and a Beijing municipal characteristic major. The program has been included in the first batch of national reform pilot projects for the cultivation of top agricultural and forestry talents and the national comprehensive professional reform project. It enjoys a high level of international recognition and prestige.

Educational Objectives

The program aims to cultivate top innovative talents who can meet the needs of land and residential ecological environment construction. Students are trained to have strong moral character, good physical and mental health, and a broad knowledge base, with expertise in botany, ornamental horticulture, ecology, landscape planning and design, landscape architecture, landscape engineering, and management. Graduates are expected to become core leaders and industry influencers in the integrated application of agriculture and engineering within the field of landscape architecture.
